Vehicle and transport interiors

Portable ozone systems and procedures for controlled work in vehicles and transport cabins.

Start with the actual site

Cabin volume, materials and odour sources vary widely. Our selection process starts with the vehicle and the source—not a generic timer setting—and includes ventilation and re-entry guidance.

Common planning challenges

  • Small volumes where output and time need close control
  • Interior materials that may be sensitive to oxidation
  • Pressure to return vehicles to service quickly

A practical treatment sequence

Step 01

Remove the source

Clean and dry the vehicle and address the underlying contamination first.

Step 02

Protect the cabin

Confirm material condition, close off the work area and keep it unoccupied.

Step 03

Run the plan

Use selected equipment under a documented professional procedure.

Step 04

Ventilate

Air the vehicle thoroughly and verify conditions before return to service.

Important considerations

  • More ozone is not automatically a better treatment.
  • Rubber, fabrics, electronics and finishes require compatibility consideration.
  • Never use odour alone as proof that re-entry is safe.

Questions professionals ask

Does ozone replace cleaning or source removal?

No. Inspection, source removal, drying and appropriate cleaning come first. Ozone may be considered as a controlled treatment step after those actions.

Can people remain in the treatment area?

Professional high-output treatments commonly require a controlled, unoccupied area. The site-specific procedure and product instructions determine the access controls.

How is re-entry decided?

The area is ventilated and conditions are assessed using a suitable procedure and, where specified, calibrated ozone monitoring. Odour alone is not a safety measurement.
