Property remediation

Controlled ozone equipment for professional fire, flood, smoke and persistent-odour remediation workflows.

Start with the actual site

Ozone treatment should follow inspection, source removal and appropriate cleaning. We help restoration teams select equipment and document a controlled, unoccupied treatment step without overstating what ozone can do.

Common planning challenges

  • Odour sources held in porous or inaccessible materials
  • Different room volumes and ventilation conditions
  • The need to protect occupants, operators and adjacent areas

A practical treatment sequence

Step 01

Assess

Identify the source, affected materials, room volume and treatment constraints.

Step 02

Control

Isolate the area, remove people, animals and plants, and restrict access.

Step 03

Treat

Use a documented operating plan suited to the selected equipment and site.

Step 04

Verify

Ventilate and measure conditions before the space returns to service.

Important considerations

  • Ozone does not replace source removal or physical cleaning.
  • Material compatibility and adjacent-space leakage must be considered.
  • Treatment evidence must be relevant to the actual application.

Questions professionals ask

Does ozone replace cleaning or source removal?

No. Inspection, source removal, drying and appropriate cleaning come first. Ozone may be considered as a controlled treatment step after those actions.

Can people remain in the treatment area?

Professional high-output treatments commonly require a controlled, unoccupied area. The site-specific procedure and product instructions determine the access controls.

How is re-entry decided?

The area is ventilated and conditions are assessed using a suitable procedure and, where specified, calibrated ozone monitoring. Odour alone is not a safety measurement.
